ChangelingVR

ChangelingVR is a virtual reality first-person interactive mystery founded upon the ideas of magical realism and a sense of unease and wonder. You play as detective Aurelia Walker, a private eye gifted with the unique ability to dream-walk, allowing her to see the thoughts and memories of anyone she touches. This gift leads the Summers-Manalo family to hire you, their last resort in discovering what is wrong with their baby. As you make contact with the mother, the father, and their two kids, you must use your mystical powers, as well as your skills of deduction, to enter their minds and make your way through their manifested hopes and fears to save the young child.

This 1.5-hour VR experience encompasses Act I: The Noir Detective, Act II: The Mind Palace, the first game-level "Mother's Fear" and the initial prototypes of "Father's Concern" and "Tween's Escape"

Linear vs Level Select Progression

ChangelingVR allows the user to explore the levels present in the game in two ways: linearly and user selected.

To experience the original vision of Changeling and the storyline being presented, we recommend you play through the game normally, without jumping to individual experiences. If this is your first time with Changeling, we would also recommend experiencing our game in it's original state and to ignore the level select option present within the pause menu. 

If you wish to jump to individual experiences and play them without having to progress through previous sections, you need only to open up the settings by pressing X on your Oculus Quest controller and selecting the Level Select option that appears. From there, select your desired experience and enjoy!
